Grant Boston is a creative thinker and doer with over twenty-five years experience communicating the personality of brands and individuals. His approach is conceptual as well as pragmatic. His work has authenticity and soul. In a demanding industry Grant always remains good humoured, approachable and down to earth. 

From a Saturday job at the Conran Shop, while at Central St. Martins Art School, Grant has gone on to secure his reputation as an art director, designer and retail expert. After starting his own practice he helped establish Issey Miyake’s reputation in Britain and spent two years styling the band New Order. He later curated the exhibition programme at Egg, the independent London store, enhancing its international standing for clothing and craft. His Portraits of Adventure exhibition for Land-Rover broke all attendance records at London’s Royal Geographical Society as did his exhibition, War Games, for the Museum of Childhood. 

Grant and his clients form long-term creative partnerships. For over fifteen years he has been responsible for Margaret Howell’s runway shows and her influential in-store British design exhibitions. He has been a creative consultant for Bamford and Daylesford Organic for over ten years and a design consultant to John Lewis Department Stores for seven.

Grant has been a visiting lecturer at the Royal College of Art and a mentor for new businesses at the Centre of Fashion Enterprise.
